Clay Art Center
Clay Art Center is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to the ceramic arts. Founded more than 65 years ago by Katherine Choy and Henry Okamoto, the center provides a wide range of ways to engage with clay, including exhibitions, artist residencies, studio spaces, weekly classes for adults and youth, one-time classes for families, and a comprehensive retail shop. Easily accessible by train, visitors can view rotating exhibits in the gallery from emerging and established talents. Visitors to Clay Art Center can participate in Guided Exhibitions and Studio Tours on Wednesdays at 11:30 am, view the Katherine Choy Collection, book a one-time class, and shop for contemporary pottery and gifts.
